Marc Herschel

Hello, my name is Marc Herschel. I am a German national born in '98 and am currently completing my master’s degree in Applied Computer Science at the Hochschule Hannover. As a software engineer, I have primarily worked in Java, although I do have substantial experience in C, C++, and Python as well. After completing my bachelors degree in the summer of 2020, I have chosen to continue with pursuing a master’s degree emphasizing mainly on IT security and complex software systems as I enjoy expanding my knowledge on previously undiscovered topics. In addition, I would like to continue trying/testing out new technologies as well as keeping up with breaking changes, innovations and best practices in the world of technology.

My website aims to showcase some of my personal projects and publications. As I am deeply passionate regarding my favorite hobby, photography, I also use this place to publish my personal work and images from all around the world. You can find some of my work by heading over to the gallery!
